Experience Christmas magic like from a picture book!
The Chemnitz Christmas Market has become a magnet for visitors from all over the world. Erzgebirge folk art and medieval handicrafts create a very special flair that has a lot to offer for young and old alike: The 12-metre-high Christmas pyramid, candle arches and nutcrackers can be marvelled at over a cup of mulled wine, while jugglers, fire-eaters and musicians provide entertainment at the medieval market.
The first Advent weekend is particularly eventful: On Friday, 29.11.2024 at 4 p.m. the traditional Christmas market will be opened and on Saturday, 30.11.2024 from 1 p.m. you can experience the Great Mountain Parade of the Erzgebirge Mountain Brotherhoods.
