The Chemnitz Industrial Museum presents the major milestones of the last three centuries of industrial development.

Built over 100 years ago, the factory complex with its distinctive round-arched façade now houses the Chemnitz Industrial Museum. Combined with modern glass architecture, the museum tells the story from the beginnings of Saxon industrial history to today’s development. From historical textile machines, the still functioning single-cylinder counterpressure steam engine from 1896 to modern industrial robots. The museum invites you to marvel and discover. Milestones from three centuries of industrial development present technical masterpieces. Legendary vehicles and machines “Made in Saxony” revive the spirit of innovation and engineering performance of Saxony.
