Meetings in a sporty-historical ambience
The Stadtbad on Mühlenstraße was designed in 1925 by the city's construction director Fred Otto in the New Building style. With the ground-breaking ceremony on 22 May 1929, work began on the new construction of the Stadtbad. The baths opened on 27 March 1935. At its time, it was one of the largest and most modern indoor swimming pools in Europe with its 50-metre-long pool. In 1983, the building was fundamentally renovated and since the 2000s it has been continuously renovated in various construction phases. In addition to the seminar room, it offers a 50-metre and 25-metre swimming hall, a spacious foyer area and a sauna area.
